Bavarian Engineering and AFRL Launch all new AFRL Business Club.
Bavarian Engineering became the inaugural member of the AFRL Business Club at an announcement at Bavarian Engineering headquarters in Taren Point yesterday. Bavarian Engineering Managing Director Massimo De Martino yesterday became the first ever company to sign up to the AFRL’s newest package yesterday with AFRL Marketing Manager Steve Driscoll.
The AFRL Business Package is the Australian Fijians newest innovation tailor made for the smaller business or larger company that in tough economic times aren’t in a financial position to take up one of the AFRL’s major sponsorship packages but can still contribute to the AFRL through this program.
“We found in the past we have had a heap of genuine interest from people within our network who were keen to get on board with us but were probably scared off by our major sponsorship packages.” said Driscoll.
“Massimo and Bavarian Engineering were one of the many companies that have always indicated that they would love to get involved with the AFRL but were just not in a financial position to take up one of the major packages. Thanks to this package we now have Bavarian on board with the AFRL and as we grow together hopefully Bavarian Engineering will move on to the jersey or shorts one day.”
Bavarian Engineering is an Independent BMW Service Centre in Taren Point, Sydney.
Focusing on Personal Service, they like to call it “Service With Excellence”.
They specialize in BMW used car sales, mechanical and electrical repairs, air conditioning repairs, wheel balancing and alignment, engine reconditioning and vehicle detailing.
Bavarian company owner Massimo De Martino is himself an ex-rugby league player who represented the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the junior representative programs as a teenager and is excited to be involved with the AFRL’s newest program and to be its inaugural member.
“I’ve wanted to get involved with Steve and the AFRL for a few years now and I am really glad to be on board through this exciting new program. Our company slogan is “Service With Excellence” and having watched the AFRL evolve over the last few years I am proud to say that we are associated with an organisation that provides the same for its players and the people in the Fijian community here in Australia.” said De Martino.
“ I remember when I was young growing up in the South Sydney area with Steve and watching Manoa Thompson play for Souths and I personally am excited to be involved with guys like Manoa and all the other great Australian Fijians within the AFRL such as Petero Civinoceva and James Pickering just to mention a few.”
“As for being the inaugural member of the AFRL Business Club that in itself is a real honour but I don’t think I will be on the web page by myself for long as this is something that I think other companies like Bavarian will jump at and I encourage them to do so as the work that the AFRL does to help young Fijian rugby league players is just outstanding and what better way to help contribute than through this program.”
