AFRL Chairman’s Message to the Fiji Bati
Dear Fiji Bati Players and Staff,
On behalf of the AFRL Board, staff, members and playing squads we wish the Fiji Bati World Cup Team best of luck in their upcoming games against France and Scotland. Due to our commitments in preparing for our upcoming English tour that is almost upon us we unfortunately will be unable to attend Saturdays game against France.
However we will be sending our victorious u/16’s Development Cup team along with their assistant coach and board member Manoa Thompson as representatives of our organisation to cheer on their Fijian heroes.
Our senior squad members will make the trek north to support the Fiji Bati against Scotland on Wednesday.
We are very proud of you boys and the achievements you have made in the past two years. Win, lose or draw you have done yourselves proud and our country proud. Come Saturday when “Quru, Quru Vatu is performed we will, along with the whole Fijian Community, be cheering and willing the Bati on to victory.
“Noqu Kalou Noqu Vanua!”
James Pickering
