INSHAPE and AFRL

The Australian Fijian Rugby League is proud to announce a new partnership with InShape Healthclubs. The deal will see InShape’s logo displayed on the on-field trainers shirts and the AFRL will endorse InShape as their official gym/training partner. All AFRL teams will utilise InShapes facilities at Alexandria and Eastgardens when in training together.

The AFRL see this deal as a vital one as their under 16’s team will take part in the Development Cup in October and the senior team which will tour Great Britain in Nov/Dec. AFRL board member Steve Driscoll said that "Having InShapes facilities at our disposal now will ensure that we can prepare to the best of our ability for the Development Cup and for our inaugural tour of Great Britain. From a performance point of view we have all bases covered now with use of all the weights, cardio vascular equipment as well as the pool at Alexandria and this will hold us in good stead for these events. Our coaching staff and players will be over the moon about this deal now that they have such great facilites available to them"

InShape Eastgardens and Alexandria General Manager said in a statement yesterday "InShape Health Club Eastgardens and Alexandria is happy to provide the facilities for the AFRL to train during their season and also happy to provide discounted packages for member and assosciates of the AFRL. We are very happy to have the AFRL on board with us and look forward to working with them in the future."
